RAF Seeks Nominations for Board

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) has called for nominations of suitable candidates to serve on its board.
In a notice in Government Gazette 36461, the RAF describes the board as exercising the “overall authority and control over the financial position, operation and management of the Fund”.
ICASA Launches Disability Consultative Forum
Independent Communications Authority of South Africa
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has launched the Disability Consultative Forum which will act as an advisory body on disability issues and make recommendations for inclusion in the ICT regulatory agenda.
Disability Consultative Forum draws participation from industry stakeholders including the broadcasting, postal sectors and disability sectors, and also from electronic communications services licensees.
Comment Invited on University Student Housing Policy

The draft policy on student housing at public universities in terms of the Higher Education Act (1997) have been published for public comment.
The policy refers to the minimum norms and standards applicable to student accommodation and has been drafted after consulting the Council on Higher Education (CHE).
