A biodiversity conservation and protection implementation plan was signed between South Africa and Vietnam on 6 May 2013.

The action plan has been developed in accordance with the terms of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of biodiversity conservation and protection that was signed between the two countries in Hanoi, Vietnam, on 10 December 2012.

Department of Trade and Industry

The trade and industry department has published a list of goods originating from the Israeli-occupied territories that require new labelling.

The list is published in Government Gazette 36364 in terms of section 24 of the Consumer Protection Act of 2008.

International Trade Administration Commission

Draft guidelines on how to draw up a safeguard application in terms of a trade, development and cooperation agreement between South Africa and the European Union have been published in Government Gazette 36307 for comment.

The guidelines have been published by the international trade administration commission (ITAC) of South Africa.
