Anti-dumping duties on clear drawn and float glass imported from China and India will remain in place.

The International Trade and Administration Commission (ITAC) confirmed this in Government Gazette 39045.

Amended tariff investigations regulations have been published in Government Gazette 39035.

The economic development department published the revised rules in terms of the International Trade Administration Act.

Davies Gives Clarity on Export Advisory Council

A business plan for the National Export Advisory Council (NEAC) will be drawn up following conclusion of the regulatory impact assessment (RIA) of the envisaged Export Development and Promotion Bill.

The trade and industry minister, Rob Davies, revealed this in a written reply to a parliamentary question by the Democratic Alliance’s Stevens Mokgalapa on how the NEAC will tackle barriers to international trade.
