General
Intelligence Laws Amendment Bill, 2011, in the National Assembly. The
explanatory summary of the Bill is hereby published in accordance with
Rule 24(1)(c) of the Rules of the National Assembly.
    
    The Bill is intended to amend the Intelligence Services Act 2002, the
National Strategic Intelligence Act, 1994, the Intelligence Services
Oversight Act, 1994 and to repeal the Electronic Communications Security
Pty Ltd Act, 2002 in order to accommodate the establishment of the State
