Call for Defence Force Service Commission Nominees

The defence and military veterans minister, Lindiwe Sisulu, has published a notice in the Government Gazette calling for further nominations for commissioners to serve on the defence force service commission.
The invitation is published in terms of the Defence Amendment Act of 2010.

The justice and constitutional development department has tabled the Sheriffs Amendment Bill in Parliament.
The bill was approved by cabinet for tabling in Parliament in November 2011.

The Protection of State Information Bill seeks to address “rising espionage cases” and the peddling state information.
This is according to state security minister Siyabonga Cwele, who was quoted in a recent article in government’s BuaNews on line.
