ICASA Sets New Call Termination Rates

The Independent Communications Authority (ICASA) has published the new call termination regulations.

The guidelines, make public in the Government Gazette of 30 September 2014 (38042 / 844), outline the rates to be charged for the next regulatory period.  The rates are what telecommunication companies charge to carry each other’s calls.

SARS Draws up Language Policy

South African Revenue Service

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has outlined, in Government Gazette 38012, its draft language policy designed to ensure compliance with the Use of Official Languages Act of 2012.

The act instructs all national departments and public entities to draw up language policies so that all eleven official languages can be treated equally in the interests of service delivery.
