Comment has been invited on the proposed introduction of a separate per hectare statutory levy on deciduous fruit in specific production regions in order to fund the continuation and expansion of the Mediterranean fruit fly control programme.

Minimum wages have been gazetted for the farm worker sector:  sectoral determination 13.

They apply to the years commencing 1 March 2012, 2013 and 2014 and can be found in notice 29 of Government Gazette 34946 dated 18 January 2012.
